Sharing My Heart- Part 2

This was written while my Mom was gone on a mission trip this year in September/October.
Philippians 2:25-30
Paul's fellow worker and brother in Christ, Epaphroditus is going back to the church at Philippi.  The Philippians have been anxious to hear from him.  They have been concerned for his health because they heard of his sickness.  Paul is excited to him return home with a report.
As I read this today and thinking about my Mom traveling home from a week in Spain serving the Lord.  We are excited she went.  Cindy and Scott were excited to have her and the team.  Yet 8 days later, we can't wait to have her home and hear the reports of what the Lord accomplished in her and thru her.  On the flip side of hat is the box that I've prepared to send back to N.C full of stuff from India.  Beautiful treasures and precious memories.  Yet there is a yearning to return to such a place to encourage, lift up, hold hands and minister to such a precious group of people.  We go on mission trips to bless and minister to others and come home being the ones who were blessed and ministered to.
Places. People. Work. Encouragement. Passion. Service. Blood. Sweat. Tears. These are all the things the Lord uses to take us and use us for His Kingdom work.  His plan and His love for the people of this world.  It just amazes me over and over and over again.  He can use even someone like me.  On the days of feeling useless, unequipped, just blah!  He can and does remind me of where He has used me and how he has plans for me even today.

He is good.  His plans are perfect. He may not show me exactly step by step but that is where our faith lies.  He's got it.  It may seem chaotic at time.  It may feel like a tangled mess BUT one day we will turn the tangled mess over to see the beautiful tapestry He sewed with us.  My prayer is that it will be a mirror image of my Jesus.  My Saviour and my Lord!  Send me.  Make me who YOU want me to be.
